One of the best acts of kindness is veteran donations. This is because most people are enjoying their rights and freedoms because of what many brave men and women have done, and continue doing, in battlefields around the world. Philanthropic to charity has many benefits, both to the giver and the beneficiary. Selfish as it may sound, one of the most popular reason people donate to aid organization is because tax benefits that it confers to the giver. This fuels a multiple billion dollar giving spree every year in US alone.
Supporters of this argument then insist that such families owe war experienced person gift. This argument has its merits; families with members at war fronts spend days worrying about their welfare, wondering if they will come back whole, maimed or in a casket. There are other reasons. Juan Castillo, the scion of a wealthy Mexican American family, lost a son on tour in Iraq. In lieu of flowers, he asked people to donate to a charity of their choice in his son’s memory. Those are some of the reasons why everyone should give veteran donations.
